Zamseed (Zambia Seed Company Limited) has been servicing the requirements of farmers in the sub-Sahara region since 1980. We focus on products that will enhance the profitability of the small-scale farmer and ensure food security for the household.
Forty years of experience combined with focused research and development plus an intimate knowledge of our customers’ requirements has enabled us to develop products specifically designed for this market segment.
Our significant product portfolio ranging from Cereals, Legumes to Vegetable seeds enables us to offer our farmer-certified high-yielding alternatives to monoculture maize production. Thus, encouraging crop rotation which is vital for sustainable crop production and for food security for future generations.

Products also carry advanced genetic traits including but not limited to drought tolerance and disease resistance which ensures clients can maximize their yields and lower risk factors associated with climate change and poor crop performance.
Research activities are combined with strict quality control measures throughout production in the field and processing of our certified seed and are backed by recognised laboratory testing.
In conjunction with Zimbabwean Seed Services and Authorities, Zimbaseed is introducing two signature Maize products in the coming 2022/23 season. Zimbaseed is continually building its product portfolio by introducing new products annually, offering an extensive range of seed choices for Zimbabwean farmers to sow, grow and reap rewards for years to come.
